Overview of Our Free Software Packages

At ACCES, we take pride in offering a comprehensive suite of software support with each Data Acquisition product. Our commitment is to provide robust support for the most widely used operating systems and platforms. Currently, we actively support Windows 7 - 11, both 32 and 64 bit, including Server, Embedded, and Compact variants for all plug-and-play products like PCI, PCI Express, USB, and more. Furthermore, many of our products continue to ship with compatibility for older operating systems such as DOS, Windows 95, 98, Me, NT4, and XP.

Sample Programs

Among the software packaged with our products are sample programs in a range of programming languages. These samples facilitate demonstration of the software interfaces for our products and many can be used directly in your production settings or to verify device functionality right out of the box. We currently support sample programs in Microsoft Visual C#, and Delphi, with numerous devices also offering samples in Visual Basic (5 and .NET), Visual C/C++, and Borland C/C++ 3.1 for DOS. In addition, we supply National Instruments LabVIEW compatible DLLs and various demonstration Virtual Instruments for our devices.

Drivers

We provide drivers for a multitude of operating systems, actively supporting Windows 7 - 11 in both 32-bit and 64-bit editions, encompassing consumer, server, and embedded types, along with compatibility for Linux kernel 2.6 and newer, as well as recent versions of OSX/macOS. Although many products still come with driver support for older systems like Windows 95, 98, Me, NT4, and XP, this support is considered outdated.

Setup Programs and Utilities

Our Data Acquisition devices also come equipped with a graphical setup utility that guides you through configuring any jumper settings or switches on the device while providing an overview of various connectors present.

Documentation on Register Level

Our documentation covers every register in every bus card, every command in each serial board, and every USB control transfer in all USB Data Acquisition boards. These interfaces empower you to develop for our products in ANY operating system or language, independent of our active support or driver availability. Numerous customers are successfully developing in ADA, Android, Python, Java, MATLAB, Solaris, and more by utilizing our comprehensive low-level interface documentation. Additionally, we provide the complete source code for all of our drivers, regardless of operating system, offering you a significant advantage in your development operations.
